The 2010 Labor Day Weekend Conference: Christ, Christ, Christ!
This year, we covered the book of Philippians during the Labor Day weekend conference in Troy, Michigan.

The topic was “Christ, Christ, Christ!” Everything in our daily life, in our pursuing, and in our church life must be focused on Christ, Christ, Christ! We seek or desire nothing but the Lord Himself; He is our real blessing and our unique prize.

You can now listen to excerpts from each of the five messages from this conference online. If you would like to download all of the excerpts for offline listening, such as on your mp3 player, there is also a page for that. To go to the listing for this conference, click here:

The 2009 Labor Day Weekend Conference: Christ and the Local Churches
Last Labor Day weekend, the saints gathered in Troy, Michigan for a time of fellowship on the topic of “Christ and the Local Churches.” The first part of this conference dealt with Matthew 13:45-46:

Again, the kingdom of the heavens is like a merchant seeking fine pearls; and finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.

The second part covered the four basic ministries of the apostolic era, and then concluded by looking at the Lord’s word to the seven churches in Revelation 2-3.

You can now listen to excerpts from each of the five messages from this conference online. We’ve also provided the conference outlines, and if you would like to download all of the excerpts for offline listening, such as on your mp3 player, there is also a page for that. A New Book
David: After God’s Heart
Go to the page for this book.

We are pleased to announce the addition of a new book to our website: David: After God’s Heart.

King David was a truly remarkable servant of the Lord, and yet he was nonetheless just like us in many ways. On the one hand he was one who truly cared about what God was after, and thus God Himself declared him to be “a man after My own heart” (1 Sam. 13:14; Acts 13:22) even while he was still just a shepherd boy. On the other hand, David was often not clear about God’s purpose, and he also experienced many failures, sins, disappointments, and, especially, many sufferings as he sought to serve the Lord.

Through such a one, God was able to establish His kingdom, gain the city He desired, and prepare the way for the building up of the temple, His dwelling place on the earth. What a marvelous story, and what an encouragement to us in our own Christian life as we seek the Lord and serve Him today!

David: After God’s Heart is based on messages given in July of 2005 during a young people’s conference in Montreal, Canada.

A New Book
Joshua: A Life of Service
Go to the page for this book The life of Joshua provides us with a good pattern of one who faithfully served the Lord, from his youth until the time of his death. The experiences he went through provide us with many lessons for our own service today.

Joshua: A Life of Service is based on messages given in Columbus, Ohio, during the Labor Day weekend conference of 2008.

July 2009 Training
Seeing Christ and the Churches
This past July brother Titus held a one-week training in Ohio on the general topic of “Seeing Christ and the Churches.”

This training dealt with three main items. First, we considered different Greek words the New Testament uses to convey the thought of seeing spiritual things. We then went on to consider the history of the apostle John, and concluded with an overview of the seven churches in Revelation 2-3, considering how we can learn from their example. You can now listen to selected excepts from this training on our website, or to download them in mp3 format for offline listening, such as on your iPod. Audio Excerpts: Seeing Christ and the Churches

May the Lord bring us all into a much fuller seeing of Christ and the local churches, and into the practical expression of the oneness of the Body of Christ as God desires to have it expressed in the churches.

This time was especially intended the young people, and the fellowship was very practical; our brother shared that the burden for this time was simply focused on helping us learn how to contact the Lord and be in His presence, especially in our personal lives. This was a very sweet time of fellowship and a real blessing to many of us who were able to participate in it, and we are very pleased to now be able to make these messages available online in two different formats: the complete messages and selected excerpts.

The complete messages present the sharing from this conference in two parts: Sharing on the healthy way to enjoy hymns and spiritual songs for our growth, and sharing on basic truths related to our loving the Lord Jesus.

The selected excerpts enable you to hear many of the main points from Titus’ sharing, on both the hymns and the basic truths, in just about two hours. (Most excerpts are less than ten minutes in length.) Also, you can easily go from one excerpt to the next via a link at the bottom of each one.

To access either the complete messages or the excerpts from this conference, use the links at the top of this post.

We pray these messages will be a blessing to you!

Christ Himself Is Our Oneness
In particular, in the book of Colossians we see that Christ and only Christ is everything. When you have Christ, you automatically have the oneness of the Body of Christ, because He Himself is the unique oneness. Therefore, rather than stressing the matter of oneness, Colossians stresses Christ Himself.

How to Know the Lord’s Leading

It is crucial for us to know how to receive the Lord’s leading if we are to go on with Him in a healthy way, and so, many Christians wonder, how can I know the Lord’s leading in my life? In this brief audio excerpt, which was shared in April of 1999 to those in a one-year labor with Titus, he considers this question. The answer he provides is very practical for those who love the Lord Jesus. In brief, he shares that we should not seek the Lord’s leading directly, but rather, should seek to be in the Lord’s presence so that He may give us His leading in the proper time.3 minutes 7 seconds • 5.6 megabytes
