God’s Authority (3)

He blessed him and said,

“Blessed be Abram of God Most High,
Possessor of heaven and earth;
And blessed be God Most High,
Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.”
– Genesis 14:19-20

Through us God magnifies His triumph. Man overcomes through God’s authority, and God magnifies His authority through man’s overcoming. God is Possessor of heaven and earth. Let us tell the Lord, “May I walk in You. I don’t care about my failures, weaknesses, or even my strengths. I only want to walk in You.”

Comments on “God’s Authority (3)”

Frank Pytel

I appreciate these words from the past few days on the authority of God and Abraham. All authority is from God, for only He is the eternal authority (Rom. 13:1; 1 Tim. 1:17); yet as the brother declares, “God magnifies His authority through man’s overcoming”. As we remain in union and fellowship with our Beloved Christ and do His revealed will, surely like Abraham, we will manifest the authority of God. Although many times, I have been helped and given direction through “Daily Words for the Christian Life”, I thought this time I should give thanks for your labor of love.
